March 27


Bldg. 7

At 12:02 p.m., an officer received a call from a Chemeketa staff member regarding a man in the men’s locker room in building 7. The man was already prohibited from being on campus, so several officers responded to the building. A deputy arrived on the scene at approximately 1:00 p.m. and the man was transported off of campus.


March 28

Criminal Mischief

At 12:52 p.m., an officer discovered graffiti on the Team Oregon motorcycle box on campus. A photo was taken of the damage and a work order was submitted to have it removed.


April 1


Green Lot

At 2:13 p.m., a call was made to an officer regarding a purse that was stolen several days prior. When the victim left for work at approximately 8:35 p.m., she had forgotten the item next to her car in the Green Lot. When she returned at about 8:50 p.m., the purse was missing. The officer advised her to notify the Marion County Sheriff’s Office and the DMV as well as to have her credit cards cancelled.


April 2

Criminal Mischief

Woodburn Campus

At 1:13 p.m., an officer received a report that a rock had been thrown through the window of a campus building on Harrison Street. The rock had damaged both the building itself and a computer monitor that had been inside, but no theft had occurred. The Woodburn Police Department and the On Call Facilities were both notified. The following day, a Public Safety Lieutenant inspected the damage. There are no known suspects at this time.


April 4


Bldg. 2

At 8:04 a.m., an officer met with a victim regarding a stolen laptop. The victim stated that his laptop had been stolen the previous day sometime between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The officer advised the victim to check that he didn’t it anywhere and suggested that he contact the police with the item’s serial number.


April 4

Hit and Run Property

Blue Lot

At 3:30 p.m., an officer met with a victim in the Blue Lot regarding a hit and run. The victim said that he believed his car had been backed into sometime between 8:15 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. The officer observed scuffs of the back end of the vehicle but no paint transfer. The victim was given a case number and was advised to call the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. There are no known suspects at this time.


April 5

Liquor Violation

Green Lot

At approximately 7:25 p.m. an officer came across three males in the Green Lot. Two of the men were smoking and one was drinking a beer. The officer informed the men that such items are prohibited on campus. The men apologized and complied without further incident.
